Our undergraduate and graduate programs are supported by two strong academic departments, Chemistry and Biology, whose faculty members combine exceptional teaching skills with pioneering published research in their respective fields. They are top-notch professionals in criminalistics, forensic chemistry, and forensic biology, many of whom maintain full-time affiliations with major forensic laboratories of local and federal law enforcement agencies, allowing them to bring you into the field with hands-on internships.

In education, it is important to her to guide students in the forensic science career so that the future of forensic science remains a discipline of integrity and quality.

Professor Sheth's research interests lie at the intersection of forensic science and computational biology, focusing on the advancement of DNA analysis techniques and the integration of computational tools into forensic investigations. She is particularly interested in advancing the application of forensic science, aiming to improve the efficiency and precision of evidence analysis in criminal investigations.
