- How to choose the correct LLM for different tasks
- Best practices to get the most out of their AI
*Class 2: Thursday, May 15, 5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m. on Zoom, 1 PD credit
- The broader impact of LLMs on the legal workplace
- Risks that LLMs place on legal practice, and how to mitigate them
- Final insights on the future of the legal profession and how students can ensure that they have careers in the coming AI era

Instructor: Professor Dan Hunter PhD FAAL
Prof. Dan Hunter is the Executive Dean of the Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London and an international expert in AI & law, legal technology, and legal innovation. He holds a PhD from Cambridge on the cognitive science of legal reasoning, as well as computer science and law degrees from Monash University, and a Master of Laws by research from the University of Melbourne. He has been researching AI & law for more than thirty years. His current research is focused on generative AI & law, innovation models in the delivery of legal services, and the future of legal practice. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and was a chief investigator in the AU$71M ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society. Over the last ten years, he has founded five startups: in edtech (Quitch), legal technology (Settle Easy), regulatory technology (Fourth Line and Argos Regtech) and legal generative AI (Graceview.ai).
