<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">In recent months, national conversations have intensified around the rule of law, what it means, and the role lawyers play in upholding it. A wave of executive orders issued since January have been criticized as challenging or even ignoring the rule of law&#8212;threatening universities, law schools, and the legal profession itself. Setting aside political differences, what we&#8217;re witnessing is historically unprecedented.</p> <p style="text-align: left;" align="center">Join Haub Law professors for a teach-in on the rule of law and the role of lawyers aimed at helping students better understand what they are hearing and reading about in the news.&#160;A major focus will be on how recent developments impact the legal profession, law schools,&#160;and law students. The program will examine the meaning and history of the rule of law,&#160;explore constitutional and ethical issues, and look at how current developments may impact the profession, legal education and employment opportunities.</p> <p><strong>Registration Required.
