At 91视频 you can build connections with leading forensic laboratories, including the nation鈥檚 largest DNA lab, and benefit from internship-to-employment pathways that can launch your successful forensic career.
Train in fully equipped forensic chemistry and biology facilities, including a state-of-the-art DNA sequencing lab, virtual crime scene reconstruction software, and advanced forensic microscopy laboratories. Work directly with expert faculty who bring decades of field experience and maintain active affiliations with local and federal forensic laboratories.
With fewer than 15 students per course, you鈥檒l receive personalized mentoring and focused instruction. You also have a unique opportunity for internships with investigative teams at major crime labs, including opportunities with the New York Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Curriculum
Our 40-credit science-based program in Forensic Science offered on 91视频鈥檚 New York City campus can be completed in two years of full-time study. Successful candidates have undergraduate majors in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, forensic science or a pre-med platform. The program prepares students for immediate careers in forensic labs and makes available to them connections to various employment opportunities.
NOTE: Students with a bachelor鈥檚 of science in biology, chemistry, physics, or in other scientific disciplines may enter the master鈥檚 degree program, but may be required to complete some of the undergraduate science and forensic science prerequisite courses.

Our program offers students the opportunity to participate in internships with investigative teams in New York City at major-area crime labs, and upon completing program requirements, students will be able to begin actively working in a forensic laboratory or consider applying for admission into medical or dental schools or advanced graduate studies in forensic science, biology, or chemistry. Students can do research in drug analysis, arson accelerant detection, genetic sequencing, and proteomics.
