A Note About Our Certificate Program
Students who complete the certificate and have a master's or doctoral degree in nursing may qualify to take the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certification for Nurse Educators exam. Please refer to the for additional information. Note that PhD students who are not NPs may elect to complete the Nursing Education courses to fulfill elective requirements, however they are not eligible to receive the certificate unless they additionally complete the 3P's (Advanced Pathophysiology, Physical Assessment, and Clinical Pharmacology). Completion of the 9 elective credits in education contribute to NLN CNE examination eligibility.
