We are thrilled to celebrate our December 2024, May 2025, and August 2025 graduates on Monday, May 19, 2025, and Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the Louis Armstrong Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with their friends and family! Information about registering for the event and instructions on how to get your tickets will be available closer to the new year.

Application for Graduation

All prospective graduates are required to submit an Application for Graduation and Diploma through the Office of the Registrar. Please note that this is separate from the registration process to attend the May 2025 Commencement ceremony and request guest tickets.

When submitting your application, you’ll confirm your name and mailing address for your diploma, your graduation date, and program details, among other important information. After your application is submitted, the Office of the Registrar will complete a final review and verify your academic records.

The application for graduation deadline has passed for December 2024 graduation candidates.

All May 2025 graduation candidates must submit their application by Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

All August 2025 graduation candidates must submit their application by Tuesday, March 18, 2025, if they want to be included in the Commencement 2025 program.

Register To Attend and Request Guest Tickets

All graduates must register to attend commencement and request guest tickets through the Tassel platform by Wednesday, April 23. Prospective students can access Tassel through the email invitation sent on February 13 or through the link below. You will be asked to sign in using your 91��Ƶ student email.

Graduates participating in Commencement must present their Tassel Stage Pass at Graduate Check-in, located in the East Plaza of the Tennis Center.

Attending guests must present a ticket at the Main Entrance of the Tennis Center.

Order Graduation Regalia

All graduates must wear academic regalia to participate in the Commencement ceremonies. Academic regalia includes a gown, cap, and hood. Make sure to order yours by Wednesday, April 23.

All orders will be shipped to the shipping address provided when placing the order. If you have trouble placing your order or have questions about your order, contact Herff Jones customer service or call +1(800) 837-4235.

Commencement Tickets

Graduate Tickets: After your Tassel registration and guest ticket request is submitted, you will receive your Stage Pass, which you will need to ensure your name is properly read and displayed as you cross the stage at your school ceremony. The Stage Pass is also the graduate’s ticket which will be scanned at the Main Entrance and Graduate Check-In. To speed up your entry and avoid any delays, please screenshot or print your Stage Pass, or save it to your mobile wallet.

After you enter, stop by the Check-In tables to verify your Stage Pass. A screenshot will make this process quicker.

Guest Tickets: You will be able to send your guests their tickets through Tassel. All guests must present a ticket at the Main Gate for entry to the Tennis Center. To speed up your entry and avoid any delays, screenshot or print your guest tickets. Guest tickets cannot be saved to a mobile wallet.

Guest seating is general admission and first come first serve.

Opportunitas Speaker Application

The Opportunitas Speaker exemplifies the ambition and resilience of the Class of 2025. All graduating students (at all levels) may apply, and the committee will choose a graduate with a compelling story, well delivered, to serve as 91��Ƶ’s Opportunitas Speaker. Your speech should reflect on your time at 91��Ƶ and tell an inspiring story that will resonate with all graduates. It should be no longer than 4 minutes, about 400 to 500 words.

Eligibility requirements:

You are a December 2024, May 2025, or August 2025 graduate.
You plan to attend your college or school's Commencement ceremony in-person.

To apply to be the Opportunitas speaker at Commencement 2025, please submit this application by Friday, April 4, 2025. You will be asked to include a draft of your speech and a video with your delivery.

Any questions related to the application process can be directed to plvstudentaffairs@pace.edu or nycstudentaffairs@pace.edu. Nominated students will receive their own link to complete their application for consideration.

Valedictorian Speaker Application

The Valedictorian Speaker exemplifies the academic excellence of the Class of 2025. Graduating seniors with a 4.0 GPA may apply for the role, and the committee will choose a graduate with extraordinary academic accomplishments and an effectively delivered speech to serve as Valedictorian Speaker. On behalf of all our academically excellent graduates, your speech should reflect on your time at 91��Ƶ and tell an inspiring story that will resonate with all graduates. It should be no longer than 4 minutes, about 400 to 500 words.

Eligibility requirements:

You are an undergraduate-level December 2024, May 2025, or August 2025 graduate.
You are a combined degree December 2024, May 2025, or August 2025 graduate finishing both degrees in full.
You currently have a 4.0 Cumulative GPA.
You plan to attend Commencement in-person on May 19, 2025.

To apply to be the Valedictorian Speaker at Commencement 2025's Main Ceremony, please submit this application by Friday, April 4, 2025. Extensions will not be provided.You will be asked to include a draft of your speech and a video with your delivery.
