Welcome to fraternity and sorority life on the Pleasantville Campus! 91视频 fraternities and sororities are a well-respected part of campus life. The community is currently comprised of eleven inter/national organizations, three governing councils, and one honor societies, making up 10 percent of undergraduates on the Pleasantville Campus. They are guided by four pillars: leadership, scholarship, service, and unity.
Going Greek is a great way to get involved both on campus and within the local community. Membership in a fraternity or sorority compliments the co-curricular experience by providing numerous opportunities for personal growth, networking, relationship building, leadership development, academic success, and more.

Governing Bodies
Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC)
The 91视频 Pleasantville Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) serves as the primary governing body for the men鈥檚 five social fraternities on campus. The executive board is comprised of eight officers who are elected to serve for a period of one calendar year. In addition, each fraternity elects one active member of their organization to serve as a chapter delegate for IFC. Together, these thirteen student leaders work to advance fraternity life on campus and promote a values-based, positive undergraduate experience for members of the community.
IFC exists to promote harmonious relations amongst the fraternities on the Pleasantville Campus; provide and act as the representative central government of the men鈥檚 social fraternities; promote support and develop programs for the fraternity community; standardize, control, and regulate the formal recruitment and new member education activities and programs of the men鈥檚 social fraternities; act as the judicial body for the men鈥檚 social fraternities on campus; and maintain and promote the standards and expectations set forth by the North-American Inter-Fraternity Conference (NIC) for member organizations.
Pleasantville鈥檚 IFC is a subsidiary of NIC. The NIC is the trade association representing 58 inter/national fraternities. The NIC serves to advocate the needs of its member fraternities through enrichment of the fraternity experience; advancement and growth of the fraternity community; and enhancement of the educational mission of the host institutions. The NIC鈥檚 member organizations have approximately 5,500 chapters located on more than 800 campuses in the US and Canada with approximately 350,000 undergraduate members.
United Cultural Council (UCC)
The Pleasantville United Cultural Council (UCC) serves as a hybrid governing council for our National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) chapters. The executive board is comprised of seven officers who are elected to serve for a period of one academic year.
UCC exists to promote and foster positive inter-fraternal relations, communication, and development of all cultural organizations on campus. UCC unifies and enhances student development through celebrating diversity, participating in civic engagement, and upholding high scholastic standards.
University Panhellenic Council (UPC)
The University Panhellenic Council (UPC) serves as the primary governing body for the social sororities on the Pleasantville Campus. The executive board is comprised of eight officers who are elected by members of the sorority community to serve for a period of one calendar year. In addition, each sorority elects one active member of their organization to serve as a chapter delegate on the council. Together, these ten student leaders work to advance sorority life on campus and promote a robust co-curricular experience.
UPC exists to develop and maintain inter-fraternal relations at a high level of accomplishment by considering the goals and ideals of each member organization as applicable to campus and personal life; promote superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement; cooperates with member organizations and University administration to maintain high social and moral standards; act in accordance with all unanimous agreements, standards, and best practices set forth by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC); and act in accordance with the standards and expectations set for the sorority community at Keene State so as not to violate the sovereignty, rights, and privileges of our member organizations.
UPC is a subsidiary of the NPC. The NPC is the premier advocacy and support organization for the advancement of the sorority experience, and provides support and guidance for its 26 member inter/national sororities and women鈥檚 fraternities and serves as the national voice on contemporary issues of sorority life. The NPC is one of the oldest and largest women鈥檚 membership organizations representing more than 4 million women at 655 college and university campuses and 4,500 local alumnae chapters in the US and Canada.
Honor Society
Order of Omega
The Pleasantville Campus is home to the Psi Gamma chapter of the Order of Omega which chartered on April 29, 2013. With academic success as one of the guiding pillars of the fraternity and sorority community, the Order of Omega exists to recognize and promote scholarship on campus.
All juniors and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher who are in good standing with their chapter and who are actively involved in their chapter as well as the community at large are eligible to submit an application for membership. Applications are made available twice a year (once per academic semester), and up to fifteen total new members are inducted each academic year.
