Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences Award
(Formerly Classroom-based Undergraduate Research Experiences Award)
The 91视频 Office of Research and Graduate Education invites proposals for funding of up to $5,000 to support the incorporation of research and creative inquiry into the undergraduate curriculum. This award process is committed to supporting the developmental integration of research across the curriculum referred to as 鈥渟caffolding鈥 in undergraduate research pedagogy. This approach prioritizes the value of inquiry-based learning through the research or creative inquiry process at introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction across disciplines and schools. This can be done through the significant revision of existing courses and the creation of new Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences (CUREs). Our goal is to make course-based research and creative inquiry more inclusive and available to all students as the experiential pedagogy that distinguishes 91视频 undergraduate education. Examples of eligible course
projects include partnering with a community organization to develop a course-based research or creative inquiry project; incorporating physical or digital archival research into a course; or enhancing labs to emphasize exploration and inquiry.

Student Technology Fee Proposals
91视频 assesses a Technology Fee to ensure students have access to the latest instructional technology resources available. The fee is earmarked for instructional technologies to keep 91视频 up to date with the technology needed for today鈥檚 teaching and learning methodologies. All revenue generated from the technology fee goes directly towards funding instructional technology initiatives.
A committee comprised of students and IT representatives from each school will review proposals and vote to select discretionary initiatives receiving funding each year, with annual reports to be provided to the 91视频 community.
Students are encouraged to submit their own funding proposal to the Student Technology Fee Committee. All timely submissions will be evaluated and considered at the next Student Technology Fee Committee Meeting.
Wilson Center Faculty Fellows
The Wilson Center aims to build a diverse portfolio of research projects with a focus on the identification and analysis of immediate issues facing nonprofits, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and social enterprises. To that end, the Center invites 91视频 faculty members to apply for appointments as 2022-2023 Wilson Center Fellows. Fellows will serve a 1-year term (October through September). In return, fellows will receive $5,000 of research funding (placed in a Scholarly Research Account) provided in two installments. The initial installment in the amount of $2,500 will be transferred to your scholarly research account upon appointment. The remaining $2,500 will be transferred when the final deliverable paper has been accepted by the committee (no later than September 2023) and the fellow has completed a Wilson Center Brown Bag Lunch Research Seminar or similar research showcase on campus.
