Blurry people crossing a busy intersection

In cooperation with Career Services, the department attempts to match students with internship placements that overlap with academic interests and complement academic coursework. Sociology/Anthropology students worked closely both with on-site and faculty supervisors to create an academic component to their work; in some cases presenting a written, scholarly paper, in others offering a presentation or analysis to the internship supervisor.

Faculty supervisors work closely with you to contextualize and theorize your experiences within the internship and our department offers academic credit for most internship placements.
